Python Backend Architect

Role Overview
Design and scale the core data processing pipelines for our AI inference engines. You will build high-throughput APIs and asynchronous workers capable of processing millions of telemetry events per second.
What You Will Build
- Design and implement high-throughput REST and gRPC APIs using Python (FastAPI).
- Architect scalable data pipelines for processing real-time telemetry and AI inference requests.
- Optimize PostgreSQL queries and schema designs for massive datasets.
- Implement robust caching strategies utilizing Redis to minimize latency.
- Mentor junior engineers and establish backend coding standards.
Technical Requirements
- 7+ years of backend engineering experience, with a heavy focus on Python.
- Extensive experience with FastAPI, Starlette, or modern async Python frameworks.
- Deep knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL) and query optimization.
- Experience with distributed systems, task queues (Celery, RQ), and event streaming.
- Strong understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP).
